My name is Vanessa, I have a passion for animals and have decided to use that passion to assist our fellow pet owners in the Yonge and Eglinton area.

A Little Bit About Me

I am the proud mamma of Casey, a Shih Tzu that we adopted on April 15, 2008. From that point my life has never been the same!

When we first brought Casey home we were feeling overwhelmed and had no idea where to go, what to do. We spent the first few weeks just going around the block and trying to get onto a schedule. As the weeks went by we started to notice a group of dogs playing behind the apartment buildings at the corner of Redpath and Erskin so we decided to check it out.

It wasn’t long before Casey had a boyfriend (or 2), a group of best friends and playmates and even better, I had also made a lot of really great friends.

I have learned A LOT about dog ownership by asking a lot of questions of the seasoned veterans. Pumpkins for constipation AND for diarrhea, training tips, grooming tips such as were is the best place to go in the area. Everything that new dog parents needed to know.

Now due to a change in career focus I have decided to give back to the community that has welcomed us in with open arms.
